About HoneyFeast

The idea for HoneyFeast.com came from a need my husband, a small beekeeper, saw for himself and others. A lot of the best local, raw, natural honey is produced by small and medium family business beekeepers. Most sell to local businesses and friends. We didn't want anyone to miss out on these delicious honeys so we built www.HoneyFeast.com to take care of the web side of the business. We run the website and then send the orders over to the beekeepers who ship it to you! This way they can keep an eye on the bees and do what they do best and you get the best local, natural honeys available! We think it works out pretty well.

We also work with a variety of other companies including large packaging companies and importers. We value all of our associates and together we are able to offer the widest variety of natural, gourmet, raw, and organic honeys and honey products on any one website in the world! Click on one of the above types of honey and start ordering!

* Honey has been used for years to treat sore throats and colds because it has antibacterial properties because of its low water activity. It is also very soothing to swollen sore throats.
* People often use honey to help reduce the discomforts of seasonal allergies. Since the bees harvest from the local plants in bloom eating their honey passes on a little bit of the plants' enzymes to you. It is believed that this helps build up immunity to the plants and can then reduce the discomforts of seasonal allergies. (these statements have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA)
* In recent years scientists have also found that honey contains many antioxidants including pinocembrin which can only be ingested by eating honey or bee propolis (bee glue)
* Raw honey has been used to help heal wounds. (The ancient Egyptians used honey for almost all of their medicinal needs. Research is continuing in this area and a manuka salve has been approved in America for use on wounds.
